South Park Inn’s mission is to improve our community by providing equal access to shelter and solutions for all people to make homelessness rare, brief, and non-recurring.
Strong principles build strong communities
Founded in 1982, South Park Inn is a continuum of programs and people serving the greater Hartford community. We work closely with our partners in health and human services to help people who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Our services are flexible, diverse, and creative. We partner with our participants to link each person with a housing solution customized to her or his unique needs.
Housing is a human right
People experiencing homelessness are clear: housing is the solution to homelessness. We understand that everyone’s experience and background is unique. Some people require additional support, like addiction recovery or mental wellness treatment. But everyone does better working toward their goals from the privacy and safety of their home.
