Strong principles build strong communities
Founded in 1982, South Park Inn is a homeless shelter and homelessness services organization designed to serve the greater Hartford community. We work closely with our health and human services partners to help people experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Our services are flexible and creative. We work with each guest to find a housing solution customized to their unique needs.
Housing is a human right
People experiencing homelessness are clear: housing is the solution to homelessness. We understand that everyone’s experience and background is unique. Some people require additional support, like addiction recovery or mental wellness treatment. But everyone does better working toward their goals from the privacy and safety of their home.
Need shelter?
To find shelter, you must to call 211. 211 operators work to place you at the best-fitting shelter. Be sure to pick up the phone when they call back, or stay on the line. South Park Inn cannot accept walk-ins.
