How do you get started with a drive?

We’ve made it easy for you.

Simply contact our volunteer manager, choose a theme from our list to focus your drive, and start collecting.

Big or small, your drive can help ensure our community has the essentials.

We kindly ask that you notify South Park Inn before you start a drive so that we can arrange for space and select your drop-off day.
South Park Inn staff cannot collect off-site donations or used items of any kind.

Pick a Theme and Do Your Thing!

  • New Clothes

    It is always helpful to have a collection of clothing available for our guests to choose from. You can help us keep our “closet” well stocked with new clothes, preferably with the tags still on.

    Think basics: tee shirts, sweatpants, socks, and underwear. The most needed sizes are L-XXXL.

    Welcome Home Baskets

    Help move our guests into their new homes.

    When guests move on from the shelter, they are supplied with a Welcome Home Basket, a collection of cookware, bathroom essentials, bedding, and cleaning products to help make a seamless transition into stable housing.

  • Senior Care Items

    Older adults is the fastest growing demographic among homeless populations. Shelters across the nation are seeing an increase of individuals with disabilities and chronic health conditions. Your drive can help us provide dignified care to every guest that comes through our doors.

    We are looking for products like sanitary wipes, incontinence briefs, and bed pads.

  • Personal Care Items

    Help keep our guests comfortable and healthy!

    With the warm weather, products like sunscreen, flip flops, and other sun care items are a necessity. In addition to the basic hygiene items like unopened shower supplies (travel sizes welcome!), new washcloths, and new towels.

  • Gift Cards

    Gift cards are one of the easiest ways for our guests to get what they need.

    We are looking for gift cards from Stop and Shop, Big Y, Walmart, Walgreens, Dunkin Donuts, Target, McDonalds, and gas stations.

Items we can't accept

Any used goods (including but not limited to used linens, used children's goods, clothing)
Furniture
Used mattresses
Partially used or expired personal hygiene items and makeup
Dirty or broken items
Candy
Used car seats, breast pumps, cribs, baby items, nor used stuffed animals
